Amy Ponson currently serves as the Executive Director of the Catholic Foundation of South Louisiana where she leads a mission of stewarding charitable gifts of the faithful for educations, social, vocational, and parish needs for the Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux. Amy previously served as the Director of Development for Mary Bird Perkins TGMC Cancer Center for the last 7 years and has a focused career in non-profit work where her passion is working with people to create a better place to live work and play in the Bayou Region.
Amy was born and raised in Belle Chasse, graduated from Ursuline Academy in New Orleans and has a Bachelor’s in Marketing and Communications degree from Louisiana State University. Amy and her husband, David, live in Raceland with their two children Michael and Abby and are parishioners of St. Hilary. Amy serves on the Emerging Leaders Council for LABI and is a member of the Thibodaux Service League. She enjoys giving back to her community and is honored to serve as the Executive Director for the Foundation.
